TAMPA, Fla. — Dirty D says there's not much accuracy to claims made by a woman who says she was underage at the time of a Tampa Bay porn shoot in August 2007.
Further, Dirty D says the woman — who goes by the porn pseudonym Kelsey Cummings, among others — has performed in numerous porn shoots with various adult producers "before and after" his shoot, and she even operates a blog that details her interest in working in porn and is married to a performer who has shot gay porn.

"This is not the innocent underaged girl we are talking about," Dirty D told XBIZ. "She apparently used a fake ID. I have no idea why she's making these claims.

"At the time, a valid Florida Drivers License was provided to us and the model was over 18 years old. The information on the signed release matched the Florida Drivers License."

Two men who worked with adult producer Dirty D to help find talent and help produce content were charged Wednesday with two counts of promoting a sexual performance by a child.

NEW YORK — A Florida woman has sued rapper 50 Cent, claiming he unlawfully distributed her homemade sex video over the Internet.

According to MTV and the Associated Press, Lastonia Leviston filed the suit Wednesday in Manhattan.

The suit alleges unauthorized use of her name or image and emotional distress caused by the public release of a video she made with her boyfriend who was supposed to destroy the tape, but instead either sold it or transferred it to the rapper.

CHICAGO — By year's end, Playboy Enterprises Inc. is poised to cut its number of employees by half as business partners take over its existing operations and expand into new ventures.
That's the word from CEO Scott Flander, who said Playboy has reached two major joint-venture or licensing deal agreements that shift basic functions to contractors with greater scale and expertise.

Flanders, who made those comments to the Chicago Tribune on Monday, said that other deals — including the one that outsourced its noneditorial functions of its legendary magazine to American Media Inc. — already have taken place.

According to a 10-year-old New York Times article from October 2000, some 20 percent of AT&T broadband customers were paying considerable amounts of money to watch real live sex online. HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — A powerful panel of adult industry pros gazed into their crystal balls at XBIZ LA today and predicted what they believe is the future of the business.

The packed-house seminar, “Fast Forward: The Future of the Porn Industry,” revealed that the key components for the near future lie in the use of new delivery platforms, user interactivity, battling tube sites and plain good old customer service.

Although the revelations weren’t shocking, the consensus of the panel was that the future is bright if companies diversify in 2010 and 2011 and embrace things like mobile applications, HTML 5 streaming ability and becoming IPTV-ready among tried-and-true adult staples including enhanced user experiences and better services for customers.

A leader in the mobile arena, Pink Visual and Top Buck’s Allison Vivas said that pay sites and affiliates must do something different to keep step in the future “or they will die.” Her company has embraced mobile as a true growth market. She said 95 percent of surfers surf on mobile and that her company sees a whopping 10 million mobile hits a month.

Mobile also provides user intimacy, another advantage the technology offers, according to Vivas. She said that Pink Visual uses the iPhone and iTouch platforms, the latter for younger users. Our older iPhone customers definitely like their mobile porn better. The PC delivery platform is for kids. The adults want it more private which means more revenue,” she said.

“We’re more concerned with becoming a brand that customers recognize as unique rather just porn. Mobile works for us in that way. In 2010 it’s time for companies like ours to put our money where our mouth is and make things happen. That’s how we’ll get value in return,” Vivas said.

Hustler president Michael Klein agreed with Viva’s enthusiasm about mobile. Klein said Hustler has shown impressive mobile growth and return in Europe and South America.

CYBERSPACE — 4chan.org has announced today is YouTube Porn Day.

4chan, one of the web’s most-trafficked image-sharing bulletin boards, was responsible for the last YouTube porn attack in May.

Today’s YouTube attack comes in response to one account, Lukeywes1234, being suspended. Lukeywes1234 is a teenager who made videos by 4chan's army of anonymous users.

In May, 4chan users said the porn postings were in response to YouTube deleting music.

Hordes of "anonymous" 4chan members have vowed today to upload thousands of adult videos mixed with generic content.

Joan Irvine, ASACP's CEO said 4chan's call to blanket YouTube with porn isn't acceptable.

"This type of behavior is irresponsible since it could possibly expose children to age-restricted content," she told XBIZ. "The industry does its duty of care to label sites with the ASACP Restricted to Adults label and follow YouTube’s TOS."

Further, Irvine said that the move could hurt legitimate adult entertainment companies that have sites.

"Some people will blame the industry when it has nothing to do with this and it could affect the reputation of the ethical companies."

LOS ANGELES — State regulators have received a demand from the AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) seeking an amendment to clarify protections for adult performers on the set.

That clarification would include a condom requirement for all films shot in California.

AHF’s request to Cal/OSHA was made after the adult industry’s trade group, the Free Speech Coalition, made public a best-practices plan for the control of bloodborne pathogens on the set.

AHF officials called the FSC’s plan a “fig leaf that doesn’t cover much” and reiterated that it has filed 16 worker-safety complaints with Cal/OSHA over the lack of condom use.

CANOGA PARK, Calif. — Calling it a "preemptive move," the Free Speech Coalition has created a best-practices plan for the control of bloodborne pathogens on the porn set.

A draft of the plan, which was published today on the adult industry trade group’s website, was initiated earlier this year, prior to news in June that an adult industry performer was found to be HIV-positive.

News of the infected performer brought pressure from not only state occupational safety regulators, but from groups like the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, which is lobbying to make porn shoots condom-only in the state.
